Questions worth answering up front.
- Why credits instead of requests?
- A forty-word comment and a twenty-minute recording are not the same work. Credits let one unit describe all three modalities: 1 credit for a short text, 5 for an image, 3 per minute of audio.
- What happens when I run out of included credits?
- Usage continues at the overage rate for your plan, and you can set alerts, a soft limit, or a hard limit. A hard limit rejects further requests rather than billing you, and the API returns a specific error code so you can handle it.
- Do you keep the content I send?
- No. Uploads are deleted on a short, configurable retention window, one hour by default. Your content is never used to train our models.
- Are these prices final?
- Credit weights and prices are still being calibrated. They are configuration rather than constants, and every billing record stores the weight version used, so historical invoices stay reproducible after any change.
